		<description>Will, Karmic has a bug/issue with date parsing (is mainly GCC 4.4)

I needed to install gcc and g++ 4.3 and add it as alternative to make it work and build successfully with RVM several versions of Ruby.

In case you start seeing issues with Date parsing or during gem installation (due timestamps), then you are safe :-)</description>
